What Lighthouse Means to Me

What Lighthouse Means to Me

From the first time we went to Lighthouse it felt like home. The people we met were so friendly and genuine.  The leaders of the church are humble and live to glorify Christ. There are mature men that God has called to the church to minister and serve. The ministry is not centered around the pastor alone. We continue to receive ministry every Sunday no matter who leads worship or preaches. The church has vision  to grow and reach the community...

Lighthouse is a comfortable place for myself and my family to grow as Christians. It provides a great example for my
children as we look to raise them to have faith.

Lighthouse has meant a lot to my family and me. We have only been going for a short time but it has become a place
where we feel welcome and accepted, as well as served. We have a special needs child and Lighthouse has been outstanding in helping to accommodate his and our needs.

Lighthouse has such a friendly atmosphere. The leadership of this Church draws me to want to be apart of the worship.  It feels like we’re one big family. What really excited us is when our four children wanted to return after our first visit!

The warmth of the Church is what opened my heart to God. I was open to the idea of attending my first Women’s Retreat, (which I loved) I am excited to be apart of the new adventure at Lighthouse.

We came to Lighthouse after trying many Churches, and I felt that it was small enough to be held accountable,
yet large enough to grow our faith, and spiritual life.

One of the main things which drew our family to Lighthouse was how the very presence of God could be felt there. After our very first visit, our family saw a group of people who truly desired to worship God, not just be there because it was Sunday morning and it was the thing to do. In fact, after we left, we looked at each other and said, “that church is alive!” That was four years ago, and we are so thankful that God brought us to Lighthouse Christian Fellowship.

For me, Lighthouse promises to be a safe place for me and my family to belong, be encouraged, get plugged in and, most of all, seek God and His presence among others who want to share the love and ministry of Christ.

Lighthouse means family. With all of our biological family several states away, Lighthouse has become our family.

At Lighthouse I have been born again and grown up spiritually during the past few years. LCF means everything to me. I love being challenged. I love that from the day I walked through the doors I have felt nothing but love, and not condemnation. I am excited about raising my kids here, and being able to spread Jesus through our community.

God has lead us to Lighthouse. It has been a safe haven and a life-changing beacon of hope for our family. This church means safety, family, joy and closeness all for the glory of God and for that, we will always be grateful!
