Email Setup

The procedures below are designed to walk you through changing a MS Outlook email account.  If you have any questions regarding these procedures or have a different email program and don’t know what to do, please let me know.

  1. Open MS Outlook
  2. Select “Tools” on your main menu at the top of the page
  3. Click on “Email Accounts”
  4. Make sure the “View or change existing email accounts” button is selected
  5. Click on the “Next” button at the bottom of the dialogue box
  6. Make sure the LCF email account is highlighted in the box on the left in the Email Accounts dialogue box
  7. Click on the button that says “Change”
  8. In the next dialogue box, there are some small boxes that need to be changed.
    1. In the Incoming Mail Server (POP3) box, replace whatever is in there with "pop3.l-c-f.com"
    2. In the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) box, replace whatever is in there with "smtp.l-c-f.com"
    3. User Name should be your entire email address (this should not have to be changed)
    4. Password - Highlight whatever password is in the Password box and retype in the user name without the "@l-c-f.com".  For example, "dbenefield"
    5. Make sure the "Remeber Password" box is checked
  9. Click the Test Account Settings button
  10. A dialogue box will open up that will show the progress of the test.  If the account is set up right, a box will pop up that says “Congratulations!  All tests completed successfully.  Click Close to continue.”
  11. Click “Close” on that test dialogue box.
  12. Click the Next button
  13. Click the Finish button
  14. If the test does not work correctly, check to make sure you have entered everything correctly and try again.  If it still does not work, please give me a call.
  15. There are some additional features that we will communicate later this week.

If you knew you were about to die, what would you do?  Ideally you would sit down and write a will to your children, telling them everything they need to know in order to live a successful life after you are gone.  You would tell them about their inheritance and how to steward it.  You would do your best to equip them to live a life full of love, joy, freedom and victory.

The words of a dying man are undoubtedly intentional and significant.  In John 13-16, Jesus is speaking his last words to His disciples, knowing that very soon he would be arrested and crucified.  In this series, we will explore these four chapters and study the final words of Jesus.

God the Father, through the death and resurrection of God's Son Jesus, and through the power of God's Presence the Holy Spirit, has given us everything we need to live a successful and effective life.  Let us receive all that God has for us as we carry out our divine assignments with divine authority and the divine Advocate.

Facility Use Guidelines

Leadership, members, and community members may request use of the building for life groups or other events scheduled through the administration throughout the year.  Our desire is for God to bless you as you build relationships with other members and others within the community.  You may be making many plans for your event, and we want to do all that we can to help you make your event successful.

ARRANGEMENTS
Please submit a complete Facility Use Agreement. If there are questions, the administrative team will call you to make sure that your event goes as planned. Also, feel free to contact the administrative team if you have questions regarding the use of the building. For your event date to be confirmed, a completed Facility Use Agreement must be returned to the church office (preferably within 10 days of receiving the form). The administrative staff will confirm that the facility rooms requested are available at the date and time requested and will confirm the use of any equipment, etc.

COORDINATION
All coordination should be done through the church administrative office. The office will call and/or meet with you as appropriate prior to your event.  They will assist with making sure you have what you need in place for your event, coordinate the building, maintenance, sound technicians, and musicians (when needed).  The administrative office will also discuss the entire event process with you to ensure that all details are planned for and you event day is as free from concern as possible. Any questions you may have regarding your event and other personal arrangements should be directed to the office.

DECORATIONS
Decorations should be tastefully done, being certain that anything used will not damage floors, carpets, walls or furniture.  Nails and screws must not be driven into any part of the building or furnishings.  Adhesive materials are not to be attached to painted surfaces or chairs.  If candles are used, the carpet must be protected from damage by using dripless, spring-loaded candles or candles totally contained (in votive cups, etc.)  Furniture can be removed or set up in your requested room(s) if communicated through the office prior to your event. All decorations and other equipment shall not remain in the building after your event.  You are responsible for removing all items after your event and leaving the building as it was prior to your arrival for your event. Any damage to church property during your event should be communicated to the administrative team as soon as offices are open.  The Coordinator will assist you with any questions you may have concerning decoration policy and procedures.  Our maintenance staff will do basic set-up of church-owned tables and chairs if needed. However, you are welcome to bring and use your own furniture, equipment, etc. as long as the policies previously stated are followed.

USAGE FEE
Depending on the event and the usage of the facilities’ utilities a fee may be required for the use of the facility. If a fee is required, the church administrative offices will include this on your request form and the fee will be due prior to the day of the event.

Save the Date & More!

Dear Leader,

Happy New Year to you and yours! We are anticipating an incredible year in 2012, and what better way to kick it off than with a new semester of Life Groups! We want to be sure you have all the details you need regarding the semester, so here’s what is up and coming and what we may possibly need from you:

  • SAVE THE DATE for the Leadership Meeting on Sunday, January 29 at 6pm in the fellowship hall. Food and childcare will be provided! Please RSVP to tracyb@l-c-f.com.
  • LIFE GROUP INFO FORMS. If you are planning to host a new or pre-existing group for the 2012 Spring Semester of life groups, please go online to our website and fill out the life group information form if you have not already. Go to the home page, click on resources, click on leadership team-password is: lovingpeople, and then scroll to the bottom of the page to find the form.
  • LIFE GROUP CARDS. If you were not at the leadership Christmas party, we need your picture for our LG promotional cards. If you are able, please meet before or after the service this Sunday, January 8 in front of the LSM table to have your picture made. Please try to wear darker clothing (white or cream colors wash out the print on the cards). Thank you!

We appreciate you very much and look forward to seeing many lives transformed through the gospel and your leadership this year!

Be Blessed,

Pastor Rex Cole
