Our family has attended Lighthouse since June of 2016. My husband, Chris, and I have been married for 13 yrs, together 18. We have 3 children, Logan (16), Luke (12), and Paige (9). I’m from Spokane WA, but spent most of my life in CA. Our family moved to Texas 3 years ago and currently live in Celina. Early on we felt a welcoming presence at Lighthouse and have enjoyed getting to know several families through Lifegroup, Youth &Kidstown.

Psalm 86 is near to my heart. Through seasons of trials and times of “stretching” God has been my ever-present help. His continued provision, no matter big or small, He cares. And how deeply He cares for each one of us. He calls us by name and desires for us to seek Him. Through the pains and joys. It’s been in my seeking that I have found great comfort of who He is to me, personally. Not just knowing about Him, but who He is to my heart. He is my “no holes” parent, providing in ways no earthly relationship could fulfill. He’s sustained me in troubling times, as well as brought healing and purpose to my life. My love for the Lord was something I felt strongly as a child. I’m grateful to be His daughter. To have his help, no matter the situation, place or hardship. His spirit living and dwelling within me continues to be a source of strength, guidance, and protection. And, oh, how desperately I need it! He promises that struggles will come in this life, but we have Him to call on. For He is our shepherd through and through.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your help. Thank you for your unconditional love and peace you so generously give. Continuing to show up and bring/send confirmations and reminders all around us. We thank you for your example in Christ, how to better navigate through hardships. We thank you for your living word, to teach and encourage us. We thank you for providing, for faithfully walking by our side. For being our refuge. We can trust. We can lean on you. Lord help us to remember to call out to you, for you are near. We love you and say this in your Son's name, Amen.
