I was born and raised in S.A and moved to Dallas in 2001.  I got married in 2009 to Randy. I have a beautiful stepdaughter, a beautiful granddaughter, Jessie, who is 9 mths & a handsome 7 yr. old grandson, Ethan.  I'm a Personal Fitness Coach and a Wholistic Nutritional Coach. I love to educate, guide & teach women that physical strength, nutritional health, well-being & wholeness begins within. I made Lighthouse my home about 6 yrs ago. I had attended another church, but I kept coming back to Lighthouse. Walking in, I always feel the beautiful atmosphere of Love & Joy & Community, and I love how Pastor Kenny just fills us with his great passion for God's Truth.

Ohhh, how I love this psalm, a beautiful profession of David's COMPLETE TRUST in God for His protection and rest.

God, who is all-knowing, already knew this chaotic world we now live in would bring us all to spiritual exhaustion, feeling at times as if we are a big leaning wall, carrying all the load, leading us to be weary and restless as we try to remain steadfast in our faith. A chaotic world that entices us all to live a life of busyness, so that it draws our attention more on it and less on Him.

But God, who's love is patient & protective, He will only let us go so far, just as He allowed David, till He gets our attention, drawing us back to Him - the ONLY PLACE where we can come to be with the ONLY ONE who can exchange our chaos & weariness & exhaustion for His REST.

Our Father, who awaits us daily and ready - not only to hear our prayers but to be heard -  arms us up with the power of who He is and whose we are, assuring us that no matter our difficulties or challenges, they are just seasons. That God ALONE is our shelter, our deliverer, our mighty rock that we can ALWAYS stand on, raising our shields & swords, declaring to any difficultly that we "will not be shaken", that "we will trust and depend on our God at all times", no longer being overwhelmed & strongheld by this world but choosing to be overwhelmed by the love of God and strongheld by our God who saves!!!

My Lord, there are no words to describe how great your love is, a love that surpasses knowledge, a love that is so vast, a love that abounds, a love that's never changing, that GREAT LOVE you have freely given us so that we can call our own, that great love that we can share with one another.

ABBA Father, I pray that out of your glorious riches you may strength us with power through your Holy Spirit that lives within, so that you may dwell with our hearts through faith. I pray ABBA Father, to help us remain rooted and established in LOVE so that TOGETHER we may have the POWER to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love you have for us (Ephesians 3:16-21).

Continue to transform us, Father, so that we may live to be the spiritually strengthened women whom you created us to be.  Praise & glory be your name, Lord. I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
