Father, thank you for revealing yourself to us through your Word. I pray that I, like David, would be able to speak to you and of you in great detail and intimacy. Lord, when I feel like I don't have a song to sing help me to lift my eyes and put my focus back on you and the things that matter. Remind me that I am a daughter of the most high King! And, when I act like a spoiled teenager who wants her own selfish desires, help me to remember that your word says that you know exactly what I need. Help me to know that your ways are always better then mine, and even when I don't understand it, you are working all things out for my good and for your glory. You are a good, good Father and it is my honor and my privilege to get to sing your praises all the days of my life. In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen!

Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.

Habakkuk 3:17-18

What a sweet prayer reminder of God's love for us. He will always be with us and desires us to walk with Him. Trust.
