Hello! My name is Jessica Gresham, I am 32 years old and married to the most wonderful man in the world for 11 years, Bryson. We have been blessed with 6 children, Brylee (8), Brooklyn (7), Brenna (5), Brady (2) and precious twins in heaven. Our life is busy, challenging at times, full of hugs and lots of loud noises!! One constant in our family is Jesus. We joined Lighthouse the weekend we came back from our honeymoon and jumped right in. We have been Life-group leaders for 6 years, been involved in Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Youth and recently Bryson rolled on as an elder. We strongly believe in doing life with others and living in Gospel Centered Community! Lighthouse has always felt like home to us.

Psalm 143 has always been one I hold close. When I was in high school I struggled to grow in the Lord and what that should look like. I remember praying one day asking God to just reveal himself to me and show me what He wanted for my life! Soon after that prayer I was sitting in a bible study and the verse, Psalm 143:8 was read, “Lord bring me word of your unfailing love, show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.” BEAUTIFUL right?!!? I loved how David put that last part…”to you I lift up my soul.” David is submitting himself and everything he has to God and asking for HIS guidance! Almost everyday, this verse pops in my head… “show me the way I should go…” I don’t know what each day holds for me, but He does. I don’t know what hardships lie ahead, but He does. I don’t know why things happen, but He does. He is not surprised by anything that happens in this life so how could I NOT ask him for guidance and give my life completely over to HIM?!?! My prayer for each of you today is that you start your day with that prayer.

Lord, show me the way I should go, direct my steps and my words. Allow me to be used by you, LORD, today and remind me of your unfailing love for me! I submit and give all I have to you, Lord! In Jesus' HOLY and PRECIOUS name…AMEN!
