About LSM

Ligthouse Student Ministry exists to accomplish the mission of LC—building a family of gospel centered disciples who are together discovering Christ in community, developing their gifts and callings and being deployed into intentional and missional life.  Within this mission, our focus is on students.

We minister to students (grades 6-12) in a variety of ways, the most frequent being our Wednesday night youth service:

When: Wednesday nights from 7 to 8:30 pm

Where: We meet at a rotation of volunteers houses. For info on that rotation, contact Jacob Reents.

Getting Involved

From grades 6 to 12, if you are a student, we would love for you to be involved in what God is doing at Lighthouse. Each week you can expect to be led in worship and to be challenged and encouraged through the teaching of the Word.  Jacob, as well as others who speak, place a premium on the authority and relevance of the Scriptures, how it speaks to today's youth in a meaningful way, and how it informs all of life and prepares us for the future.

In our student ministry, you can also expect to form lasting friendships rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We value relationships, and our students have helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for students from all walks of life.

Students aren't the only people welcomed to our youth events.  At Lighthouse, we believe in the ministry of generations, and as young people we need you!  We need your wisdom, your guidance, your patience, your passion, and we need your example. Lighthouse Student Ministry has a fantastic group of volunteers that serve and pour into our youth each week, and we are always looking to build that team. If you are interested in serving our students in any way, please contact Jacob Reents at jreents@lighthousentx.com
